GSA October Technical Talk

Presented by Ross Cayley – Geological Survey of Victoria, Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources.

Ross’s research career has evolved from investigation of local and regional-scale geological features, to current projects developing continent-scale tectonic models. This reflects a broadening of interests, and recognition that it is only from appreciation of the complex interplays between all geological systems that the tectonic evolution of an orogen, and understanding of the mineral systems it may contain, can be deduced.
