ASEG-PESA 2015: 24th International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition

ASEG-PESA 2015 – 24th International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition

Perth, Western Australia, 15-18 February 2015

This event is the premier exploration geophysical conference in the southern hemisphere and arguably at the top of the list for mineral exploration geophysics. The 2015 event is hosted by both the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia. We are promoting a programme with a strong focus on case histories, best practice, and the new methods and technologies that underpin the exploration effort. An emphasis on the geological causes and meanings of geophysical results is meant to appeal to a wider audience, and this theme will be carried into the workshops on offer as stand-alone events before and after the main conference.

Visit the main conference web site www.conference.aseg.org.au for all details and for registration. We have an impressive line-up of keynote speakers profiled at http://www.conference.aseg.org.au/program-speakers.html and a preliminary oral program will be released soon. Numerous courses and workshops are on offer athttp://www.conference.aseg.org.au/workshops.html .

Day registrations are available for specific theme days that hold more interest for AIG members, such as “Mineral Exploration Case Studies” on Monday 16 February or “Geology from Geophysics” on Wednesday 18 February.
