EMPs and Site Auditor Guidelines – What’s the latest and do they work?

The NSW Environment Protection Authority’s (EPA’s) review of the Site Auditor Guidelines, and the use of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) by site auditors when issuing Site Audit Statements, are both currently hot topics of debate.

ALGA’s NSW-Sydney Branch invites AIG members to attend a discussion led by a panel of legal and technical experts on these issues, which will include:

  • the latest from the EPA on its review of the site auditor guidelines;
  • the use of different categories of site audit statements;
  • circumstances in which the use of an EMP is and is not appropriate.

The forum will feature presentations from:

  • Arminda Ryan – Senior Audit Officer at NSW Environment Protection Authority
  • Elizabeth Wild – Partner at Henry Davis York
  • Brad Eismen – accredited Site Auditor, AECOM.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel session, giving forum attendees an opportunity to debate and delve further into the issues raised by the presenters.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided during the networking session before the forum.
