Gold-Copper Discovery in Papua New Guinea

1 CPD HourGreg Corbett will present a talk on Gold-Copper Discovery in Papua New Guinea for AIG’s South Australia Branch in Adelaide on 17th June.

Greg needs no introduction. He is a leader in the field of Pacific Rim porphyry and epithermal deposits and has presented workshops and presentations all over the globe. He was co-author on Economic Geology Special Publication No.6 which incorporated much of the work that he (and Terry Leach) had carried out over the years.

Meet in the restaurant bar (not the public bar) at 6.30pm for complimentary pre-meeting drinks with the talks commencing at 7pm. For those wishing to stay, dinner will be at 8pm as per our normal routine. Parking should not be a problem in the city at this time of the day.

Please let us know by Sunday 15th June ( geologists@tealeassociates.com.au or tom@mayergeology.com.au ) whether you will be staying on for dinner (so that we can notify the hotel of approximate numbers).

All geoscience students are welcome to attend the meeting.

Greg will also be presenting a two day workshop on porphyry and epithermal gold-copper exploration in Adelaide 17-18 July, 2014 – details here.
