The Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum (WA DMP) Petroleum & Geothermal Open Day will be held at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle Thursday 11 September 2014 immediately after the Good Oil Conference.
The Hon Bill Marmion MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum will be delivering the opening address.
Other presentations include responsible development of the resources sector, “CCTV”, acreage release (in the onshore Canning, Southern Carnarvon and Officer Basins), resource management regulations, well integrity, the Western Officer Basin, South West hub CCS update and land access guidelines. There will be a panel discussion (general theme: social licence to operate) as well as an exhibition area for discussion with Department staff.
