The next quarterly Bowen Basin Geologists’ Group (BBGG) quarterly meeting we be held at the Baralaba mine.

WHERE : Meeting place to be confirmed  (either Baralaba township or Mine Site)
TIMING :

  • 09:30AM REGISTRATION / SITE INDUCTION
  • 10:00AM-12:00 SEMINARS including Baralaba Mine Geology & Structure
  • 12:00-12:30PM LUNCH
  • 12:30-15:00PM Baralaba Mine Tour
  • 15:30PM Conclude Event & Leave Site

PPE REQUIRED : Please bring own Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Cap Boots, High Visibility Long Pants & Sleeves Workwear.  As we will be undertaking this trip at the start of the storm / “wet”season the event may be subject to weather conditions at the time.

  • Due to site logistics numbers to be capped at around 40 – to avoid disappointment register early!!
  • Map Directions to meeting be provided once meeting place is confirmed
