Thursday July 7th
Time: 6pm – 7:30pm (talk starts 6.30)
Coopers Alehouse at the Earl, Pulteney Street Adelaide
First Thursday of every month the South Australian branch of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists holds informal geoscientific talks in a casual setting. Attendence at this meeting can also contribute towards AIG’s Registered Professional Geoscientist (RPGeo) program (see https://bookings.aig.org.au/)
Tim Birt, Senior Project Geologist, Havilah Resources
Talk outline:
The Broken Hill Domain of the Curnamona Province has had a long prospecting and exploration history. The Mutooroo Project Area has had limited modern exploration drilling outside the known resource at Mutooroo and historic geophysical anomalies. Havilah Resources are generating targets utilising simple boots on ground exploration mapping and sampling. Regional drill testing will be the next step towards discoveries to add to the project resource inventory.
