Steve Sullivan
Steve Sullivan, a geologist with more than 35 years industry experience in geological modelling and resource management. Steve worked for ten years in exploration, open cut and underground mining in PNG, Vic, NSW and QLD before joining Maptek where he has worked across a diverse range of metalliferous and energy commodities throughout Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Laos and Mongolia. He is currently the Technical Lead for DomainMCF, a commercial machine learning application for geological modelling. He has published multiple technical articles and presented numerous conference papers on machine learning since 2018. When not in front of the computer, Steve can be found deforming metal in his forge or riding mountain bikes up and down whatever he can find.
