TalkThe Bauloora Low Sulphidation Epithermal System, Near Cootamundra, N.S.W.Chris Byrne, CEO and Managing Director of Legacy Minerals TALK SYNOPSISBauloora is a low sulphidation epithermal system located near Cootamundra, NSW. The widespread Au-Ag (Zn-Pb-Cu) mineralisation is hosted in veins, associated breccias and alteration across a 24 km2 vein field. This mineralisation combines widely distributed colloform banded epithermal quartz-adularia veins and locally by more sulphide-rich fracture filling and breccias with elevated base metals. There are significant areas where colloform banded veins occur as outcrop, subcrop and extensive float that have received limited previous attention and no drilling. The area has had very limited historical production, with the most modest Mt Felstead mine (4000 t) attracting the bulk of the previous exploration attention and drilling. This talk presents the model for mineralisation at the Bauloora Project. It will also provide an overview on how the Legacy Minerals exploration approach to a broad, systematic model drivel exploration program, has resulted in some significant technical breakthroughs across the Project. Chris Byrne Chris is an electrical engineer with a passion for geology and a diverse experience in the mining and infrastructure sectors. Chris has worked with companies including Anglo American across maintenance, operations, and capital works in greenfield and brownfield environments. Chris is the founder and Managing Director of Legacy Minerals, a NSW focused gold and copper exploration company which is the owner of the Bauloora Project, which is now subject to a recently executed JV agreement with Newmont.
