Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for Students
12 to 15 February 2024 (Online: 4 X 4 hour sessions over consecutive days)
In early 2024 EGRU will collaborate with Seequent and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) to offer a short course in Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals for Honours and Postgraduate students.
Places on the course are limited and priority will be given to students enrolled in Geoscience Honours or full-time Postgraduate study at an Australian university.
Course Content
– Getting started with Leapfrog
– Importing and validating data
– Contact surface types
– Geological modelling
– Dynamic model updating
– Numerical modelling
– Drillhole planning
– Cross sections
– Images, scenes, movies, LF viewer
Seequent will provide delegates with training licenses and training data.
Delegates will need Windows OS, 2 monitors and an external mouse.
Registration for the course will open in late 2023.
