Adrian van Herk Adriaan van Herk is a structural geologist and passionate explorer with over 25 years’ experience evaluating complex geological terranes. As Principal Geologist of Sandfire Resource, Adriaan supports the Sandfire global exploration teams with regional scale to deposits scale geological modelling, structural and basin analysis, and target generation. Prior to joining Sandfire Adriaan has led exploration teams to several discoveries, including Jervois Copper (Australia), Lakuwahi Polymetallic (Indonesia) and Omitiomire Copper (Namibia).
