Dr Damien Keys
Damien is a geologist with over 20 years of mining and exploration experience in Queensland and Western Australia. Damien’s early career was spent underground in Mt Isa, in the pit at Ravenswood and roaming the hills south of Cloncurry. He completed a structural geology focussed PhD at JCU in 2008 on the Mt Isa Inlier before heading to WA to explore for nickel and gold. He returned to Qld but continued to explore for gold in WA, leading teams to success at Black Cat Syndicate and Spectrum Metals. He currently heads up Sunshine Gold, a Queensland based explorer with a suite of gold-copper-molybdenum and rare earth prospects.
