A deeper dive on the North Stawell ProjectThe North Stawell Project includes 504km2 of the northern continuation of the Stawell Corridor – immediately north of the multi-million ounce gold deposit at Stawell. However, from 6km to the north of the mine, the gold-prospective geology disappears under a blanket of Murray Basin cover. The cover, despite complicating exploration, preserves the potential for shallow, large gold deposits. A GPIC is a great format to take a less ‘hectic’ look at this exciting gold project, and review some of the exploration, science, opportunities, wins and losses of narrow vein gold exploration in western Victoria.
