AusIMM Women in Mining

Hear from five women in leadership roles, on what it takes to have a career in the resources industries and the values that come from diversity and inclusion. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A, lunch, a keynote presentation and networking.

Panellists Annette Elliott, Erin Brokenshire, and Kate Baker will share challenges and opportunities experienced and where trends might take us. Paige Dallywater will chair the panel session. Join us for a delicious grazing table lunch with drinks and then enjoy a livestream of the inspiring presentation from the Perth AusIMM International Women’s Day Event keynote speaker, Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert. Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert has lived a reality that most would consider their worst nightmare – falsely imprisoned in an Iranian prison, placed in solitary confinement, with little to no hope of release. After serving more than two years of her sentence, Kylie was brought back to Australia in a prisoner exchange deal in November 2020. She now advocates for other unjustly detained individuals. Bunbury attendees will enjoy an extended post-networking function.

Remember this event is not just for ladies – and we hope to see you there!
