In 2006 British mathematician Clive Humby coined the phrase “Data is the new oil”.
More aptly data and information can be referred to as an asset or investment.
An asset in its own right, geoscience data is inherently tied to and represents the physical asset of the orebody or resource.
Come join this Thursday to hear from our coffee rockstar Brigette Hendersonhall from Matrix Data as she discusses that while best practice management of geoscience data is certainly not a pipe dream, the journey and technology mix is not one size fits all.
