This is a follow-up to the highly successful workshop “IOCG Deposits: The Cloncurry Experience” held in Cloncurry in March 2015.

Course Content:

The 2016 workshop will be held in the Cloncurry region which is host to world-class copper-gold and base metal deposits. The workshop will include:

  • Presentations on deposit scale to regional scale geology.
  • Sessions on exploration methods, history of, and lessons from, various deposits.
  • Field visits and drill core inspections.

The 2016 workshop will focus on IOCG deposits along with other mineral systems in the Cloncurry District, including Broken Hill type deposits, SEDEX and skarn deposits.
