AIG Queensland Branch’s June technical talk will be presented by Brice Mutton, Brice Mutton and Associates.
This talk will cover the gold endowment of the Drummond Basin – briefly the geology, its exploration history and particularly the golden period of epithermal deposit discovery from the mid-1980’s to the mid-1990’s. The talk will focus on the central eastern Drummond Basin’s Mt Coolon (Koala) Gold Mine – Queensland’s great unknown mine, before concluding with some comments on the remaining outstanding exploration opportunity.
