This forum will be chaired by Cameron McLean from EnviroPacific Services and present perspectives on a range of questions including:

  • What is the purpose of a RAP, what must be in it and what could be in it?
  • Is the RAP a remediation design?
  • If I have an approved RAP, will I get the remediation outcome I want?
  • What are the options from contracting a remediation project and how do they relate to what’s in the RAP?
  • What are the options for managing consultant and contractor input to the remediation process?

ALGA invites you to come and listen to thoughts and opinions from a range of expert stakeholders on this fascinating topic.

The forum will feature presentations from:

  • Warren Pump, – Managing Partner, ERM;
  • John Hunt – Technical Services Manager with Thiess Services a Remediation Contractor; and
  • Peter Osmand – the Project Director for the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Platypus Gasworks Remediation.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel session, joined by Gabrielle Guthrie, Senior Associate, Lander & Rogers Lawyers giving forum attendees an opportunity to debate and delve further into the issues raised by the presenters.

As always, drinks and nibbles will be provided during networking sessions before and after the forum.
